December 22, 2024 - Week 48

December 20 was our end-of-year Christmas Farmer's Market and Bazaar. I was reminded of my participation in the Farmer's market on my first day of school - and now I'm nearing my last.

This time, I was tasked with prepping price signs and did not have to look after a stall (phew). On the odd occasion when I helped sell produce (in this case to a fellow teacher), she said "Keke, you shouldn't work at a market" in jest at my inability to properly bag her produce. We also sold items made by the Design and Decor students: bonnets, scrunchies, coasters, bags, placemats, etc.

Aside from that, this week was uneventful leading up to Christmas and was a perfect time for me to recharge my social battery and get some much-needed rest.
